Ken Levinson, VP Finance and Operations

Ken Levinson, Vice President, Finance and Operations

Ken began his career as a CPA in the tax department of a mid-size national accounting firm. He then went on to specialize in Entertainment Business Management with a practice consisting of well known clientele in the music business including Rod Stewart, John 'Cougar' Mellenkamp and The Temptations.

While maintaining his management practice, Ken assisted in the formation of a self-funded start-up in the computer business, Computer Parts Exchange. CPX, as it was known, sold after-market parts for main frame computers, much the way Pep Boys sells after-market auto parts. CPX grew rapidly, resulting in Ken selling his private practice and devoting his 100 % of his efforts as VP of Finance for the company. Ten-years later, after growing to over 400-employees, the company was sold in 1988 to Bell Atlantic Corp.

Ken then started his own small business, which he later began franchising. The company, 'Pressed 4 Time', is still in existence today with over 300 franchises nationwide. (Concept: Dry cleaning pick-up and delivery….business to business…farming out all dry cleaning services.) He sold the company after a few years but retained an interest in it until 2002.

Ken then decided to go back to work for corporate America, specializing in turn-around efforts for small businesses. He was involved in two major efforts, one with a manufacturing company in the printer parts industry where he served as President of Smith Roller Company for four-years. That was followed by three-years as CFO of The Broadcast Store, a re-seller of used camera and studio equipment.

Ken came to GoTV in 2005 and has been in charge of the financial team ever since. He assumed all HR functions as well in 2007. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from California State University-Northridge and received his CPA certificate from the State of California in 1972.
